What is the alien species aquaculture register?

A database containing all the documentation referring to permit applications that, within the meaning of (EC) Reg. (CE) 708/2007, must be transmitted by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies in order to introduce exotic species or to transfer locally absent species. Exemption from the permit obligation is granted to the species listed in annex IV to Reg. 708/2007 and Reg. 506/2008.

Is it possible to access the register contents?

 It is possible to access the information records by clicking on "Application archives". For each application an information record is created which is identified by a code and containing a summary of all the documentation included in the register. The register may be accessed only by members of the Consultative Committee.
